Him: Okay, look. I'm skipping the small talk and telling you straight out. I miss you. I miss you more than anything. I miss everything about you. I miss your hugs that gave me butterflies, I miss how I'm always smiling around you, I miss how happy you made me. You have no idea how much it kills me to pass you in the hallway and have nothing to say to you. I know I hurt you. I know you hurt yourself. I wish we could just forget about what happened. I wish you didn't have those scars. I cried when I found out I did that to you. When I said I wanted to be single, I didn't realize I was losing the best thing that has ever happened to me. You probably don't trust me anymore in a relationship, but I'll try my hardest never to make you cry. I will never take you for granted like I did. It was worth a try for me to tell this to you.
